Yes, dark chocolate is full of cancer-fighting antioxidants, but just because you decide to chow down on a dark chocolate bar doesn’t necessarily mean you’re making a good diet decision. Consider this: A Hershey’s Special Dark bar has 21 grams of sugar and a serving of Dove Dark Chocolate Miniatures has 13 grams of fat. Wowzah!

    Great post, Matt. I often feel like all the info out there about dark chocolate is so misleading. I mean, yeah, the chocolate component is wonderful. It’s just so easy to forget the refined sugar and fatty components in the delightful belief that store bought chocolate bars are good for us (smile)…!
