This guest post comes for Pam from the blog A Love Of New Recipes
Hi Everyone! This is Pam @ www.alovefornewrecipes.blogspot.com doing a guest post for FaveDietBlog. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert…ha!…caught ya…you thought I was going to say dinner….well today we are going to have dessert instead, in honor of St. Patty’s Day! A Green Smoothie for brekkie….the All American drink or at least to us health nuts….right? In the mix to serve 2 BIG (32 oz) glasses: 1.5 cups water, 1.5 cups almond milk, couple handfuls of spinach, 2 packets of stevia, 1.5 frozen bananas, a scoop of lecithin granules, and 4 ice cubes……throw all in the blender till smooth….enjoy!…..gotta love the color…..GREEN!
Mixed Up Salad for lunchie! Combine together: mixed lettuce, a can of Amy’s Veggie Chili, a can of Amy’s Tomato soup, 1/2 cup Lundberg Organic Brown Rice Pasta, 1 link of Applegate Farms Breakfast Sausage (chicken & apple)…..very tasty!
And for what you have all been waiting for….dessert! This is ‘Key Lime Kream Bars’ from Ani’s Raw Food Desserts book! This was made from raw cashews, lime juice, agave syrup, liquid coconut oil, and water.
I would like to thank Matt for this wonderful opportunity of being a guest here! Hope you enjoyed the post and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!……Keep It Green!

I’m not into citrus deserts, but that one looks really good!

I like the look of that smoothie (very healthful)-I might make one in the morning. I keep saying I’m going to start doing that at the beginning of my days…

Idea from one of our custoemrs: I put a tiny bit of water in a frying pan, cover them, and let them cook for a few minutes while I’m getting the rest of breakfast ready. Since they’re pre-browned, they come out great. (Haven’t tried the microwave as the other reviewer suggested, but I could see how that would work great, too). Thanks, Renee and the Applegate Crew
