Okay, if you are able to read this right now, chances are you know how to peel a banana…but do you really? Bananas can be too squishy, too firm and downright difficult to peel sometimes. But just think about it again. Bananas are so easy to peel that even a monkey can do it, right?
Monkeys might have surpassed us on this one. They actually squeeze the bottom together and the banana pops right apart. Genius! And the best part is, those annoying strings don’t stick to the banana. You can even pluck off the dark part at the top and eat the entire banana.
Bananas are high in potassium (duh!), iron, vitamin B6 and more! They have been proven to increase alertness, decrease depression, provide tons of energy and soothe your stomach. You might want to learn how to peel them so you can eat them as quickly as possible!

Once you have the banana open, you might need something to do with it– here are a few healthy and easy banana recipes. If you want something super simple and delicious, cut the banana in half put each half on a short skewer or popsicle stick and freeze. Once frozen, eat or dip in melted dark chocolate. Dip in chopped peanuts or colored sprinkles if desired. Enjoy!
