Recipes for Healthy Hair

If you’re striving for a head of perfectly shiny hair, but all the hair care products in the world do not seem to help, then maybe you are not eating the right foods. After all, hair cells, like any other cells in your body, need the proper nutrients in order to function optimally. For the best hair, consume enough protein, iron and omega-3 fatty acids. Protein and iron, found in foods like chicken and spinach, promote hair growth. Omega-3 fatty acids, most commonly found in protein-rich fish, helps keep your scalp healthy. To make sure you have enough of the essential vitamins and nutrients needed for healthy hair, here are two great recipes. With these recipes for Baked Salmon with Sherry and Healthy Spinach Bake, you hair will be healthy and radiant.

Getting nutrients from natural sources like fresh fish is also much better for you than getting it from dietary supplements, though scientists don’t really understand why this is. Salmon, as a fatty fish, besides being high in Omega-3 fatty acids and protein, is also high in vitamin D which promotes skin health. Nothing complements a healthy head of hair like a healthy complexion, so eating salmon is an excellent way to improve your health and appearance simultaneously.
